Dr. Wiegel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, now known as Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS). While attending SCUHS she was deeply involved in student affairs, representing her fellow classmates on the Educational Advancement Committee and Clinical Internship Division, and was president of the Delta Tau Alpha honors society. Dr. Wiegel was selected, in a highly competitive application process, to represent SCUHS as a treatment provider for the athletes participating in the annual Aids Lifecycle; a week long bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles in an effort to raise funds for HIV/AIDs research.
Dr. Wiegel is a life long resident of the High Desert, graduating with honors from Sultana High School. Dr. Wiegel became a patient of chiropractic early in life after being involved in an auto accident. She continued to receive chiropractic care as a student athlete, in order to maintain peak performance, developing a passion for the profession. Dr. Wiegel is proud to return to her Alma Mater as the team doctor for Sultana High School to provide care for today’s student athletes. Dr. Wiegel is focused on techniques that are both gentle and effective for the treatment of auto and work related conditions, acute injuries, chronic pain, disc injuries, and sport injuries.
Dr. Wiegel is married and has a 4 year old son. As a family, they enjoy riding motorcycles, camping, and mixed martial arts. Dr. Wiegel is active in her community, supporting education, local law enforcement, fire fighters, and martial artists.
